nations are vying alike, for the global pie. And exports
offer the yuppie that is vying to go place an ever-widening
horizon of opportunities.
The Government of India is gearing its efforts towards
tripling export turnover. Hence, the requirement of
trained personnel in Export-Import Management is likely
to be doubled by that time. Naturally, one can expect
a tremendous demand for well-trained and experienced
manpower in this field, which is currently seeing a
heavy shortfall of such personnel.

of both professionals and fresher. The Institution has
trained personnel from blue chip companies such as Mahindra
& Mahindra, Ciba Geigy, Commercial Banks, BARC,
TATA Exports, Haria Exports, SCI, Ambuja Cement, ACC
Cement, Reliance, Sahara India, Customs, RBI, Union
Bank of India, Kodak and BPT to name few.
The Faculty are from Multinational Companies, Semi-Government
and Government organizations, which includes FIEO, ECGC,
RBI, various Chamber of Commerce, Foreign banks leading
Consultants and Executives from leading exporter organizations.
The course covers various aspects of exports and imports.
There are several methods used for imparting knowledge-classroom
lectures, guest lectures, workshops, audio-visual and
visits to ports, export organizations etc.
The Institute has also introduced a unique Practical
Training Programme wherein the participants are sent
for work, thereby enabling them to interact with officials
related to trade, learn documentation practically, practice
costing for international markets, and interpret policies
and their implementation. After completing the project,
the participants are sent to various export import organizations
for on-the-job training for 3 to 6 months.
